Terms and conditions

The online shop is run by SC Exemplu Cânepă SRL, tax ID (CUI) RO00000000, Trade Register No. J00/0000/2026, registered office at Str. Exemplu 1, București (Law 365/2002, art. 5).

In these terms, the words below have the following meaning.

• Consumer — a person who buys outside their trade, business or profession.
• Order — the request to buy the products in the cart, sent through the site.
• Contract — the distance contract between you and the shop, concluded when you receive the order confirmation e-mail.
• Working day — Monday to Friday, except public holidays in Romania.

We sell cosmetics and other industrial-hemp products, only those the law allows in Romania. Each product page states its legal category, for example a cosmetic notified in the CPNP.

CBD products are not medicines and do not replace any treatment. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medicines, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use. We sell only to people aged 18 or over.

Every batch has a certificate from an independent laboratory, explained on the Lab reports page.

You place an order in the steps below. Until you send it, you can fix any mistake: change quantities in the cart, press “Change” on a step you have completed, or go “Back to cart” (Law 365/2002, art. 9).

We keep the contract, meaning the order and the terms valid on its date, and send it to you by e-mail on request. The contract can be concluded in Romanian, English or Hungarian.

• Add the products to the cart and press “Continue to checkout”.
• Fill in your contact details.
• Choose delivery and the address.
• Choose how to pay.
• Review the order and press “Order with obligation to pay”: this step commits you to pay (GEO 34/2014).
• Receive the confirmation e-mail; from that moment the contract is concluded.

You can order without an account. If you create one, with an e-mail and password or through Google or Facebook, you can see your orders and saved addresses there. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at contact@exemplu.ro if someone has entered your account without your consent.

You can close your account at any time by writing to contact@exemplu.ro. Orders already placed remain valid, and we keep invoices for as long as the law requires. How we use account data is explained in the Privacy policy.

Prices are shown in the shop's currency and include VAT. The delivery cost appears in the cart before you pay, and so does the free-delivery threshold.

For discounted products, the previous price shown is the lowest price we charged in the 30 days before the discount (GD 686/2022).

If a price is obviously wrong because of a technical error, we tell you before shipping. You can keep the order at the correct price or cancel it, and any amount paid is refunded in full.

You can pay cash on delivery, in cash or by card to the courier, or by bank transfer. Cash on delivery has an upper limit shown at checkout; with bank transfer, the order ships once the money arrives.

Online card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) appears at checkout when the shop enables it. The invoice comes by e-mail; all the details are on the Delivery and payment page. We charge no extra fee for the payment method you choose (GEO 34/2014).

We deliver only within Romania: by courier to your door, to a locker, or for pickup from the shop. Delivery times and parcel tracking are on the Delivery and payment page.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you receive the parcel. Check it on receipt; if it is damaged, refuse it or note the damage on the courier's receipt and let us know.

You have 14 calendar days from receiving the products to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason; for several deliveries, the period runs from the last one (GEO 34/2014). The easiest way is the Withdraw from contract here button; the standard withdrawal form or a clear e-mail also work.

Sealed products such as oils, capsules, cosmetics and liquids can be returned only unopened; once unsealed after delivery, they cannot be taken back for health protection and hygiene reasons (GEO 34/2014, art. 16).

You pay the return shipping, and we refund you within 14 days of your withdrawal statement. The steps are explained on the Returns page.

We are liable for any lack of conformity found within 2 years of delivery; in the first year the defect is presumed to have existed at delivery (GEO 140/2021). Repair or replacement is free and done within 15 calendar days of you telling us; if that is not possible, you get a price reduction or we end the contract.

A product that arrives damaged or wrong is a guarantee claim, not a withdrawal, and the shop pays the shipping. The details are on the Guarantee page.

The “Verified buyer” mark appears only on reviews linked to an order delivered by our shop; other reviews appear without it.

We also publish negative reviews. We do not publish reviews that are unlawful, offensive, contain other people's personal data or are unrelated to the product, and we do not pay for reviews (Law 363/2007).

To make a complaint, write to us at contact@exemplu.ro with your order number and, if it helps, a photo. We reply within 30 days at the latest.

If we cannot reach a solution, you can turn to ANPC or to an alternative dispute resolution body (SAL) via reclamatiisal.anpc.ro (GO 38/2015; ANPC Order 270/2026). The EU online dispute resolution platform (ODR) was closed on 20 July 2025.

We sell only to people aged 18 or over and deliver only to addresses in Romania; by placing an order you confirm you are at least 18. If the order contains vaping products, the courier checks your age on handover and they are not delivered to lockers (Law 201/2016).

We may refuse an order if we cannot confirm the buyer's age or the delivery address. In that case we let you know, and any amount paid is refunded in full.

The texts, photos, logo and graphics of the site belong to SC Exemplu Cânepă SRL. You may not copy, publish or use them commercially without our written consent.

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by force majeure, meaning unforeseeable and unavoidable events such as natural disasters, wars or bans imposed by authorities. We let you know as soon as possible, and if we can no longer deliver, we refund you in full.

The contract is governed by Romanian law. This does not take away the protection that mandatory consumer protection rules give you.

If a disagreement cannot be settled amicably or through SAL, it goes to the competent courts in Romania.

We may update these terms. A new version applies only to orders placed after it is published; your order stays under the terms valid when you placed it. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
