What is CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is a compound of the hemp plant. Unlike THC, it does not make you high. Here it comes as oils, capsules, gummies, creams and cosmetics.

Is CBD legal in Romania?

The rules depend on the product type — cosmetics, oils, food — and on the THC content. Our guide sets out what Romanian and EU law say, with dates and sources.

Is hemp seed oil the same as CBD oil?

No. Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds and contains almost no CBD. CBD oil is made from hemp extract and states its CBD in milligrams.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

Drug tests look for THC, not CBD. Full spectrum products contain THC traces that can show up with regular use; broad spectrum and isolate products are made without detectable THC.

What is the difference between full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate?

Full spectrum keeps all hemp compounds, including THC traces; broad spectrum removes the THC; isolate is pure CBD. The batch report shows the measured THC.

How do I choose a CBD oil strength?

By the milligrams per drop. 10 % means 100 mg per millilitre, about 5 mg per drop; 5 % gives about 2.5 mg per drop. The label gives the milligrams in the bottle; divide them by the drops to get the mg per drop.

Can I use CBD if I take medication?

Ask your doctor first. CBD can interact with some medicines, and it is not recommended under 18, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
