About us: an online CBD shop in Romania

We are an online shop, not a manufacturer. We sell CBD oils, capsules and cosmetics, as well as products for pets, all from producers in the European Union.

The shop is run by SC Exemplu Cânepă SRL. All products are in the catalogue, and the full company details are further down this page.

A product enters the shop only if it meets all four conditions below. We explain how to read a lab report on the Lab reports page.

• Every batch has a lab report from an independent laboratory.
• The measured CBD content matches the label.
• THC is within the legal limit, and the hemp comes from EU-certified varieties.
• The lab's name and the date of analysis are on the report.

We do not promise any health effects. No health claim for CBD is authorised in the European Union, so you will not find such promises here either (Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006).

CBD products are not medicines and do not replace treatment. We sell them only to people aged 18 or over. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep the products out of reach of children.

CBD is not a narcotic: the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled so in the Kanavape case (C-663/18, 19 November 2020). Cannabis and THC, however, remain controlled substances in Romania (Law 143/2000, Law 339/2005).

CBD cosmetics comply with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and are notified in the CPNP portal. Foods and food supplements with CBD are novel foods and need authorisation (Regulation (EU) 2015/2283). We sell only what the law allows and state the regime on each product page.

Our activity is supervised by ANPC (National Authority for Consumer Protection) for consumer protection, and by ANSVSA (National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority) for food and food supplements.
